The 4th is a great time to dress up patriotically, too. I tried the "Happy Pompadour" hairstyle from "Vintage Hairstyling: Retro Styles with Step-by-Step Techniques " (the one on the cover), with a bandanna a la Rosie the Riveter. Then I made stupid faces at the camera.
