This special limited edition of our popular Camille boots is inspired by the Star Princess costume in Phantom of the Opera with a healthy dose of historical design. Based closely on original 1890s vaudeville, opera, and circus boots, metallic leather boots were a popular choice for performers at the turn of the 20th century.

The special edition Star Princess boots are fantastic for cosplaying Christine Daae from Phantom, various super heroes and video game avatars, or your favorite ice princess. Think of the possibilities: Can-can, Vaudeville, historybounding, theatrical costumes, Moulin Rouge!

These tall boots feature a shaped top, leather foxing throughout, and a gorgeous 3 in / 7.6 cm French heel.

As a lace-up boot, the Camilles are very adjustable for a wide variety of ankle and low-calf measurements. The top of the Camille boots does not extend to the widest part of the calf muscle. Measurements scale a little based on size.

Camilles come with two sets of laces to allow a greater range of fit - the set on the boots is 77 in/ 195 cm long, and the extra-long laces are 154 in / 391 cm long.

Lovely look, and more comfortable than any other boots I have!

I received a number of compliments on these! I wore them to a showing of the Wicked musical in LA a couple weeks ago and they fit the theme perfectly. They took about a day to break in but once they were, they were significantly more comfortable than any other boots I own. I have very high arches and I wasn't miserable while walking in these. They seem to be very good quality, the leather is soft and the velvet is very nice.

I will say, lacing them is a pain. But I think to be true to the era, they wouldn't be able to put a zipper on. However, a side or back zipper would be a game changer on these. I would probably wear them a lot more if I didn't have to almost fully unlace them and relace them each time I take them on and off.

Shipping was fast too, we booked our seats a little last minute so I only has 1.5 weeks to receive them and they came with plenty of time to spare!

I cannot begin to tell you how satisfied I am with these shoes!
My mother recently passed away, and I was looking for the perfect shoes to go with my velvet and silk black dress and black chambray hat for the funeral. She would have smiled at how I put this together. When I tell you that these shoes did not disappoint!!! I will continue to purchase from this company. I’m so excited! They fit true to size. I am usually a 11 in most shoes 12 in heels and they weren’t tight!

Gorgeous and Comfort

These take a while to lace into but worth it. They are very comfortable. I sized up a 1/2 size due to the narrow toe-box. They are perfect with a light sock. The heels are stable. You need to work with the lacing over the arch and at the ankle for the right fit but once you get it you will be comfortable for hours in the shoes.
