We must admit the Edwardians had serious style when it came to sporting attire. Our Cambridge Edwardian Bicycle Boots echo this past panache with glorious leather paired with flexible cotton twill canvas, quick-lacing, and double straps at the top. We've based the Cambridges on several pairs of original bicycle boots from the early 20th century, but updated for modern comfort, width, and durability. These boots aren't just for cycling, too. Wear them with bloomers, breeches, knickers, or skirts of any length for historical, vintage, historybounding, or modern attire.
As a lace-up boot, Cambridge Boots are very adjustable for a wide variety of ankle and calf measurements. The top of the Cambridge Boots do reach the calf muscle, and we've designed this area to be particularly adjustable for a broad range.
Calf Size Range - 14 - 20 in / 35.6 - 50.8 cm
Ankle circumference - 8.5 - 13 in / 21.6 - 32.5 cm
Boot height (does not include heel) - 13.75 in / 34.9 cm

Have had my eye on these for a while and finally bought them during the Silver Bell sale. The sides dug into my ankles a little bit, but fit more comfortably after a few hours of wear around the house. Other reviewers mentioned them being comfortable out of the box but I would recommend breaking them in before walking very far. I order size 8 regular width for all my American Duchess boots but considered returning these for a size 8.5 as they pinch at the widest part of my foot, oh well lol. Still so pretty and will go nicely with my mountaineering outfit I am making :)) The color and style are exactly as described.
These have been in my closet for a while. I finally took them with me to Teslacon. As usual I put inserts in them because my feet are slightly narrow. As soon as I laced them up I knew it was going to be a good day. The first day I wore them for 8 hours. Two days later they were on for another 6. I was nervous when the company was sold, but the quality is still there!.
I bought these for Dragon Con and I knew I'd be walking for miles. So I wore them to my job to break them in. They were comfortable the very first day. I walked for 3 miles total before the con, and walked 12 miles in them during the con. Comfortable the entire time and fit like I'd had them for years. Very happy with this purchase!
I’ve gotten four pairs of American Duchess shoes by now and these are by far my favorite. I got them during the sale and they’re the comfiest pair I have. Despite having a pointed toe they’re still super comfy for having wide toes. I’ve worn them around all day without any problems.
I'd only wear silk stockings with these, as they fit pretty snuggly. I can't wait for fall so I can wear my wool dress with these!
