Description

Renoir Victorian Button Boots offer sturdy sophistication with the perfect mid-Victorian silhouette. Period-correct for the late 1850s to the 1880s, Renoir features all-leather materials, true side-buttoning closure, and the comfort you need for all-day re-enactments.

These mid-Victorian and Bustle Era boots have square toes, a short heel molded from an original, and an attractive scalloped edge and top, making them practical yet feminine, and ideal for a fashionable Victorian lady.

Wear Renoirs for historical events, or add a bit of incognito history to your cottagecore, dark academia, or historybounding outfits. Renoirs have appeared on screen in "Victoria," and "Alias Grace."

You will need a button hook to easily and quickly get your boots on. Button hooks are sold separately.

Great Purchase

Beautiful and comfortable boot!

beautiful boots, but be careful of the heels

I bought these boots for my wedding, and they are beautiful and looked so good! My only complaint is that it seems like the heel caps fell off almost immediately, and I did not notice. I can't replace the heel caps anymore because after about an hour of walking on them, the part where the heel caps pop in is like totally degraded, and the leather is pulling up in places. I think I'm going to try and take them to a local cobbler because I love them and want to continue to wear them. I am a slightly heavier person, so I'm sure that's part of the issue. If you are a heavier person who wants these boots, I would recommend bringing the extra heel caps with you the first time you wear them just in case so you can keep the heels as in tact as possible.

We're sorry that happened! Please reach out to us at info@americanduchess.com and attach photos of the heels so we can better advise on next steps!

Beautiful Boots!

They fit so well and are surprisingly comfortable, just gotta break them in a little bit. Definitely needed a button hook to get them on. So happy I finally ordered these!

My Most Favorite Shoe

These are so comfortable, I have them in two colors. Wish the black and green were coming back!

Now I can time travel to the 19th century

Exactly what I needed to portray Lettice Bryan, author of 1841 cookbook - The Kentucky Housewife. And in a big size like my big feet!
