Introducing Edith, the spool-heeled Edwardian boot you have been dreaming of. Carefully designed and based on antique originals, Edith is accurate to 1890 through 1920. Edith features a custom, curvaceous, and perfectly-balanced 3”/ 7.6 cm French spool heel, which makes an ideal base for our custom last. Edith’s super-soft leather uppers are crowned with a splendidly shaped top, and set off by handsome broguing on the shaft and toecap. The period-accurate curve along the back of the boot gracefully hugs the calf, just like real Edwardian boots. Available in both standard and wide width, Edith fits a wide range of calf sizes. Each pair of Ediths comes with two sets of laces, for increased adjustability. The top of Edith Boots do not extend to the widest part of the calf muscle. Measurements scale slightly based on size.

I've had to resort to wearing men's boots for most of my life because I am a very tall and strong gal. 11w ladies shoes are hard to find, and even harder to find in a true 11w. Usually brands just take an 8 and stretch it longer, not scaling up the proportions. This 11w is a REAL 11w! The heel is balanced, the instep is high enough, the ramp is perfect for the length, the insole is wide enough! I could live in these, if given the option. They're beautiful, comfortable, and so well made. I cannot wait to wear them at every chance.
I'm a long-time collector of AD shoes from way back, but have struggled recently with shoes not being wide enough. These are amazing. Not only are they wide enough for my feet (purchased a 10W), they also fit my ankles and legs while still retaining the "narrow" look for the period.
I just received these and they are lovely. The leather is so soft, and they were very comfortable for the short time I tried them on. I usually wear a size 9-9.5, I ordered these in a 9W to accommodate my wide calves and these fit well.
I've always loved victorian boots, I've tried a few cheap pairs over the years and it's wonderful to have a comfortable pair that lace up without a gap between the tongue and sides
