These pretty and practical shoes are closely based on an original late 1940s to early 1950s faux suede sandal in our collection. The design is perfectly balanced, made in a durable everyday material, with secure buckle straps and a tiny peep toe, making the Lidos perfect for dancing, walking, and lounging.

Built on our new 2.5 inch / 5.7 cm reproduction Cuban heel, the Lidos are soft and springy. Wear them for all occasions from the 1930s all the way through to the 1970s. Nothing beats a classic, comfy, and cute design like this!

Faux suede is indeed the original material for this shoe! We've chosen a very high quality, easy to care for sueded fabric close to the original. Spritz your shoes with Angelus Water & Stain Repellent to keep them in good condition and looking swell.

Perfect sandal

Very cute sandal, I got a size 10 and they fit well, the peep toe area isn't very large which works well for me because I don't like the feeling of my feet sliding forward out the toe hole.
The strap around the ankle was questionable for me because I was afraid it wouldn't secure, but it's deceiving, it stretched enough for me to secure it on the second hole.
Overall happy with them, just sad that now it's fall and I'll have to wait to wear them.

Absolutely gorgeous, great deal on sale!

I feel like I scored grabbing the last pair of these in hot pink on sale. The suede is so soft, the shoe is flattering (and I have kind of wide feet, though not so much that wide are comfy for me) and they are so so comfortable! These and a pair of blue Marilyn’s are my first pairs of AD shoes and I’m hooked!

Comfortable for all day wear

I had to go up one full size and the toe box is a tad narrow but with that said- I didn’t have any blisters or problems after wearing them two full days in a row. I think I can use the shoe tool to stretch the toe area and then they’ll be perfect. I’m normally a size 8 but I kept these in a size 9. I am thankful for the free return policy because this is my first pair from this brand and I didn’t get it right the first time.

perfect

These sandals are just right. Heel is perfect height for comfort and still looks dressy. I am old enough to remember when these came out, back when. They check all the boxes. Suggest sizing up a half. I have three pair, red ,yellow and ivory. Also they look adorable with bow tie shoe clips.

So comfortable!

These are by far my comfiest pair of heels. I got them for my upcoming wedding and really don’t think I need to break them in too much. I normally wear an 8.5 but bought a 9 based off some comments and they fit perfectly and are super cute.
