To round out my trip to visit friends in the Bay Area this weekend, we all made an effort to look elegantly vintage, and enjoyed another fine little party at The Parlor, Sam and Monica's Victorian apartment.

I wore an original Lily Diamond gold lamé and brown lace dress...
with a cape. I got this dress from the incomparable
Lady Carolyn, and wasn't so sure about the whole thing at first, but one I tried it on...
with the cape...I knew I had to have it in my collection.
