Renoir was quite a prolific artist, and to be honest I didn't realize. Going through as many art history classes as I did, we always studied the same couple paintings, and never dove into the
thousand-or-so paintings, he did over his 78 years.

What I love most about the original Impressionists is that they all had classical training and serious skills. They could all paint realistically, but it was their choice to obscure that realism and explore style, color, and expression fluidly.
